Welcome to the Province of Ohio of the Grand Council of Knight Masons. Knight Masonry continues the story of the Temple in Jerusalem and, in the Irish tradition, completes the Masonic legend of the Temple. Within Ohio, our Councils are joined in fellowship as they preserve these historic degrees through ceremony, education, and shared service.

Three Degrees
The Knight Mason degrees
Knight Masonry is a chivalric fraternal Masonic Order that confers three degrees of high symbolic, philosophical, and moral value. In the Irish tradition, these degrees continue the story of the Temple in Jerusalem and complete the Masonic legend of the Temple.
Knight of the East
Also associated with the Jordan Pass
This degree continues the historical and symbolic account of the journey toward Jerusalem and the restoration of the Temple.
Knight of the East and West
Also associated with the Royal Order
This degree completes the series and the account of the return to Jerusalem and the rebuilding of the Second Temple.
